Honda: The Power of Dreams
An organization dedicated to the advancement of mobility and leading-edge technology, Soichiro Honda; the mastermind and founder of this company entered the automotive industry in the late 1960s. Honda devised a new way of doing things differently than its Japanese competitors by implementing front-wheel-drive as well as the newest technologies such as: anti-lock brakes, speed sensitive power steering and multi-port fuel injection beginning in the 1980s. One of our more well-known vehicle, the Civic, is the second-longest running nameplate manufactured by a Japanese company and has become larger and more high-class throughout its several generational changes. Honda continues to innovate and enhance its products and has reached 50 million units of automobile production worldwide as of 2003. It is Honda's mission to develop advanced technologies that excite and satisfy the needs of a future society.
